Dead Chicks Don't Talk

i know the second quarter isn't over yet but i just want my shareholders to know my stock is rising. and how.

this has been the busiest and longest long-weekend yet. i'm averaging five hours of sleep a night and there is a good chance i am going to crash. well worth it though!

i spent saturday in brampton at renu's wedding. it was an amazing ceremony and she looked beautiful. the event took all day and we got approximately eight meals of indian food. it was awesome! however, the curry-dreams i had that night were totally messed up. allie, ben and i made the most of the open bar and had loads of fun. here are a couple of pics from the wedding:

sunday morning we got up early and headed to ktown. the weather was garbage and the parents didn't feel like going up to the cottage. so instead i took the car and headed up to the leo cottage for some fun and relaxation! well, fun anyway. k had a bunch of her guelph friends up so we had the pleasure of hanging out with a bunch of 23 year-old boys. the PPH ratio was high and the girls took the opportunity to perform a sociological examination called the Simian Experiment. the alpha-males grunted and lumbered about while we grew increasingly annoyed. i can't even begin to describe the events of the evening but i will give you my favourite quote of the night:

"i guarantee that i'm cooler than every guy you've ever fucked"

monday morning we got up, ate some eggs, and s and i headed over to my cottage to hang out with the kogons. as per usual s just passed out on the couch and i read my book. the weather was ridiculously cold and i had packed poorly. the only warm clothing i had with me i wore to the bonfire the night before and the smell permeated everything. despite a shower and an attempt to air out i couldn't shake the odour of feu. i'm sure my fellow train passengers appreciated it.

i went directly over to j's house when i got back to TO and we watched a movie and hung out. it was another late night and i was especially glad that i took today off. s wasn't flying out til 845 pm so we spent the day enjoying the city. the weather today was everything that the weekend wasn't. it was so sunny and warm that we couldn't help but spend the afternoon on a patio. we went to the black bull and the lady robber discussed her future career as a gloved ball-twister. it is her forte after all!

when we finished drinking downtown we got a call to go for drinks uptown. t and a met us at scruffy's and we had a couple more drinks before s headed to the airport. now its 930 and i am totally ready to go to sleep! i'm such a sucka.

i've totally left out all the funny bits of my weekend that i wanted to blog but my memory is failing me. there was something about a cathedral and some flying rats, a gentleman garbage collector, attempts to maintain a conversation sans alpha males, and tragic memories of getting whacked in the back with a hockey stick. ok, i'm off to sort out my life.
